History of University of Vienna

The history faculty of University of Vienna assigned Lo Breier to design its website. At the same time we were working on creating a new identity for the university. So we were commissioned to work on the concept for the web pages of the university’s history as well. Thereby we elaborated different approaches together with the web developer Johanna Kniehase. Our intention was to keep the history website for University of Vienna modern, connected to the new design. It should be very specific about any subject in the context of the history, clearly arranged and (user-) friendly. New is the timeline and featuring themes.
An in-house team developed the website in the end. Below you see my layouts at an early stage based on the first design proposal for the university. Furthermore you see some scribbles, which show the idea of the tile structure.
